Drying
This cart of some sort of vegetables is left out to dry in the hutong (alleys). The photo’s rather shadowed and can be part of this week’s Challenge: Shadowed .
Travel Theme: World Cups
Each week Ailsa invites bloggers to post photos based on her travel theme. This week the theme is “World Cups.” I’ve never been to a professional soccer game, so I thought I’d be more literal.

For January 1st, CDP photographers are choosing to post their “Best Photo of the Year.” I’ve chosen this photo of a smiling woman doing a Uighyr dance in Baide Park on a polluted day. Though the sky was contaminated with smog, this group danced away. I leave it to you to interpret the meaning.
