If you’re ever in Beijing, or anywhere in China — get glasses. Either bring your prescription or take an eye exam here. Progressive bifocals are $50 and single vision can be $9 – 20.

Here you see sunglasses and the tools of the trade, but the shop has hundreds of frames to choose from. The longest wait if 2 hours to get complicated glasses made.
