Weekly Photo Challenge: Collage

 1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Wednesday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.

3. Follow The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements, and subscribe to our newsletter – we’ll highlight great posts. Add Media photos from each month’s most popular challenge.

December Theme Day: Worker

DSCN3552

Rather late this month. I almost forgot! Here’s a worker selling snacks on Food Street off of Wangfujing Street. I’d never touch grilled squid, but plenty of folks seem to love it.

Eyeglasses

If you’re ever in Beijing, or anywhere in China — get glasses. Either bring your prescription or take an eye exam here. Progressive bifocals are $50 and single vision can be $9 – 20.

Here you see sunglasses and the tools of the trade, but the shop has hundreds of frames to choose from. The longest wait if 2 hours to get complicated glasses made.

Travel Theme: Orange

  1. Create your own post and title it Travel theme: Orange
  2. Include a link to this page in your post so others can find it too
