Thankful. In the United States, yesterday was Thanksgiving. I post a list of things I’m thankful for every week at Conjectures of a Guilty Bystander. Today though, I must say I’m thankful for the many and varied visual delights of China including this seat at the Confucian Temple in Beijing.
I think the idea of being thankful and reflecting back on good things in your life is something that naturally happens towards the end of a calendar year. I’m thankful that I’m blessed to live in China and this weekend I got to go to Beijing. I’m also thankful for a wonderful Thanksgiving on the 22nd.
New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our Weekly Photo Challenge to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.
Here’s how it works:
1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.
2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2012″ or “postaweek2012″ tag.
3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

nice large room!
The craft work inside is stunning!
It sure is. It would be interesting to see how it was done. To think of all the craftsmanship all cultures are losing.
Very cool for the theme!
Thanks for the pingback!

I would like my living room to look like that!
I like anyone who thinks big!
My basement was a forest for several years, with a room we turned into a space ship. For years the kids suited up in the costume room, then boarded the XL2000 to go on space missions.
